We're seeking a Senior Java Developer with a robust command of AWS and deep knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms to join our fully remote team.
You'll join us as a Product Engineer, tasked with designing software solutions that are not only scalable but maintainable. Your technical piano will play a variety of keys such as Java, Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language, alongside the beats of Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure. Your role will put you center stage, collaborating with developers, testers, and other stakeholders to drive timely product delivery.
Responsibilities
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and develop solutions
- Designing and implementing scalable and maintainable software solutions
- Generation and maintenance of clean, quality code
- Performing code reviews for compliance with coding standards
- Establishing and maintaining automated tests to safeguard deliverable quality
- Actively participating in Agile/Scrum development process
- Ensuring punctual code delivery while maintaining high-quality standards
- Documenting code and system architecture thoroughly
- Participating in system design and architecture discussions
- Providing mentorship and technical advice to developers with less experience
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 4 years of experience in software development, majorly focused on Java
- Previous experience working with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Expertise in Data Structures and Algorithms
- Experience with Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language
- Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL tools, APIs, and Integration
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools
- Facility with Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure
- Proactive approach to problem-solving coupled with a strong sense of ownership
- Fluency in English with outstanding verbal and written communication skills, ideally at Upper-Intermediate level or higher
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with Big Data technologies like Hadoop and Spark
- Awareness of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence technologies
