We are seeking a Senior Java Developer with Data Structures and Algorithms expertise to join our remote team. You will be responsible for the development and improvement of our product, demonstrating ownership and a proactive attitude toward problem-solving in a cloud environment. Your focus will be on quality, delivering high-quality products that meet or exceed customer expectations. As a solution thinker, you will have experience working with high-loaded systems and optimizing complex systems with transactions, with a strong emphasis on clean code and system design knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Develop and improve the product while ensuring quality and meeting or exceeding customer expectations
- Work in a cloud environment and take ownership of problem-solving
- Optimize complex systems with transactions, emphasizing clean code and system design
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless project completion
- Provide leadership and guidance to junior developers
- Assist in the continuous improvement of development practices
- Maintain a high level of technical proficiency and stay up-to-date with new technologies
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience with Java
- Expertise in Data Structures and Algorithms
- Experience working with high-loaded systems and optimization of a complex system with transactions
- Knowledge of Kotlin/Scala/Go languages
- Experience with AWS
- Understanding of Clean Code principles
- System design knowledge
- Familiarity with API & Integration Standards
- Experience with Microservices and Spring
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL tools
- Experience with CI/CD
- Experience creating out of the box solutions
- Ownership experience with a big picture view mindset
- Experience with requirement elicitation
- B2+ level of English proficiency
Nice to have
- Experience with DevOps tools like Jenkins, Git, and Docker
- Familiarity with message brokers like RabbitMQ or Kafka
- Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks like React or Angular
