We are currently seeking a seasoned Senior Developer with expertise in Java and AWS to join our dynamic remote team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping the excellence of our product.
Your significant contributions will aid in the development and improvement of our product. We value a proactive approach and a strong sense of ownership in tackling challenges. Your expertise in Java and AWS, along with a deep understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms, will be vital in enhancing the overall quality of the product.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the team to implement innovative features and functionalities
- Improve and elevate the quality of our product
- Maintain and enhance the existing codebase
- Participate in code reviews, ensuring compliance with best practices
- Architect and implement a scalable microservice infrastructure
- Create and manage APIs and integrations with other services
- Ensure continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD)
- Proactively identify and resolve technical challenges
- Engage with stakeholders to understand and define project requirements
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
Requirements
- A minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in Java development
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
- In-depth knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms, Clean Code, and System Design
- Proficiency in AWS, including Amazon EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda
- Familiarity with Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language
- Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL tools
- Expertise in APIs and Integration
- Strong familiarity with Microservices and Spring
- Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to take ownership of tasks
- Excellent English communication skills (Upper-Intermediate level)
Nice to have
- Experience with messaging systems, such as RabbitMQ or Kafka
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
