We are seeking a remote Senior Java Developer with expertise in AWS and an in-depth understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms to join our team. As a Senior Developer, you will be responsible for designing and constructing software solutions that are scalable and maintainable. You should have a broad knowledge of technologies, including Java, Kotlin, Scala, and Go Language, as well as Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure. You will work within a team of developers, testers, and stakeholders to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our product.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to comprehend project requirements and develop solutions
- Develop and implement software solutions that are scalable and maintainable
- Create and maintain code in line with clean coding practices
- Develop and maintain automated tests to evaluate the quality of deliverables
- Carry out code reviews to ensure compliance with coding standards
- Actively participate in the Agile/Scrum development process and associated ceremonies
- Participate in system design and architecture discussions
- Ensure the timely delivery and quality of code
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
- A minimum of 4 years of software development experience, specifically with Java
- Previous professional experience with Amazon Web Services (
- Proficiency in Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure
- Experience with Kotlin, Scala, or Go language
- Expertise in SQL and NoSQL tools, as well as APIs and Integration
- Proficiency with Data Structures and Algorithms
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools
- A strong sense of ownership and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Fluency in English at the Upper-Intermediate level or higher, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
