We are seeking a remote Senior Java Developer with AWS proficiency and an in-depth understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms to join our team. In this role, you will design and build scalable and maintainable software solutions. You should have mastery over a variety of technologies, including Java, Kotlin, Scala, and Go Language, as well as an understanding of Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure. You will work within a team of developers, testers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and successful product delivery.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and develop solutions
- Develop and implement scalable and maintainable software solutions
- Create and maintain code following clean coding practices
- Conduct code reviews to ensure compliance with coding standards
- Develop and maintain automated tests to ensure the quality of deliverables
- Ensure the timely delivery and quality of code
- Participate in Agile/Scrum development process and ceremonies
- Participate in system design and architecture discussions
- Document code and system architecture
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
- A minimum of 4 years of software development experience, particularly with Java
- Prior professional experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Proficiency with Data Structures and Algorithms
- Experience with Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools
- Expertise in SQL and NoSQL tools, as well as APIs and Integration
- Proficiency in Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure
- A strong sense of ownership and a proactive problem-solving approach
- B2+ English level
Nice to have
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with Big Data technologies like Hadoop and Spark
