We are hiring a Senior Java Developer to deliver reliable Java backends and apply AI know-how to strengthen architecture and implementation decisions. You will develop Spring Boot microservices with REST APIs, SQL, CI/CD, unit testing, and Java NoSQL while operating across Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services—apply today.
Responsibilities
- Build scalable applications that meet business priorities and technical quality expectations
- Provide architectural input during system design sessions to influence roadmaps and key decisions
- Coordinate with teams across the organization to deliver robust solutions on schedule
- Conduct peer code reviews and suggest improvements that keep implementations clean and maintainable
- Analyze challenging defects, determine root causes, and drive resolution across the development lifecycle
- Guide less experienced engineers through hands-on mentoring and technical support
- Support project planning by defining deliverables, estimating effort, and contributing to timelines
- Evaluate new technology practices and integrate valuable approaches into daily development
- Create and maintain documentation for technical processes and architectural choices to support ongoing evolution
- Align with stakeholders to confirm requirements and ensure deliverables match business expectations
Requirements
- No fewer than 3 years of professional experience in software engineering or a comparable area
- Working awareness of AI technologies and concepts that can improve application design and delivery
- Thorough command of Java Core concepts and object-oriented programming practices
- Hands-on background with Java 8 and its development capabilities
- Practical experience using Spring Boot to implement and maintain backend infrastructure
- Experience operating services in a Microsoft Azure cloud ecosystem
- Working knowledge of Amazon Web Services for cloud deployments and operational oversight
- Experience with CI/CD workflows for repeatable, automated build and deployment processes
- Ability to work effectively with SQL for relational databases and complex queries
- Demonstrated experience building service-oriented platforms using microservice architecture patterns
- Proven capability creating REST APIs and integrating them with larger systems
- Practical use of unit testing to verify behavior and improve code stability
- Familiarity with NoSQL database options that work well with Java stacks
- English fluency at B2 (Upper-Intermediate) level or higher, both written and spoken
