We are seeking a Senior Java Developer to join our team.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in developing and implementing portal solutions using Liferay. You will work with various technologies and frameworks to create effective web applications that meet client needs. Responsibilities
- Implement portal solutions using Liferay
- Integrate Liferay with other systems
- Develop custom solutions based on Liferay
- Utilize JavaScript for front-end development
- Design and develop Java/J2EE applications
- Apply MVC design pattern in application development
- Implement and utilize web services for system integrations
- Work with Hibernate and Spring frameworks
- Develop microservices for enhanced application functionality
- Manage database interactions using T-SQL
- Configure Liferay sites and organizations with appropriate permissions
- Develop portlets and custom themes in Liferay
- Implement logging and usage analytics components
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle
- Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality deliverables
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Java/J2EE application design and development
- Strong knowledge of Liferay platform
- Proficiency in JavaScript
- Background in SQL and T-SQL
- Familiarity with OSGi framework
- Experience with Spring MVC framework
- Capability to implement web services and system integrations
- Knowledge of microservices architecture
- Experience in delivering extranet or customer portals
- English proficiency at a professional level
Nice to have
- Certification in Java programming
- Familiarity with RabbitMQ or Kafka
- Experience with Servlets and JSP
- Understanding of Azure or Amazon Web Services
- Background in configuring and administering Liferay applications
