We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer with expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in cloud-based solutions and backend development, with a focus on building scalable and high-performance applications. Responsibilities
- Design and develop robust and scalable applications using Java and GCP technologies
- Collaborate with team members to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Optimize application performance and ensure reliability in cloud-based environments
- Implement best practices for coding, testing, and deployment in cloud ecosystems
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges to maintain system stability
- Ensure secure and efficient communication between services using appropriate protocols
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions to enhance team output
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- At least 3 years of professional experience as a Java Developer
- Hands-on expertise with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for building and deploying applications
- Proficiency in TypeScript for developing scalable front-end solutions
- Experience with gRPC for efficient service communication
- English proficiency at B1 level or higher, with strong communication skills to collaborate in diverse teams
Nice to have
- Experience with Google App Engine for deploying and managing applications
- Familiarity with GWT (Google Web Toolkit) for building complex web applications
