Currently, we are looking for a remote Senior Java Developer to join our team.
The client is a technology-enabled care model powered by a nationally scaled, locally delivered healthcare platform.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Application Developers, and QA Analysts
- Designing and developing low-latency, scalable, high available, distributed application services and delivering high availability and performance
- Under existing application architecture
- New feature development
- Re-usable component creation
- Write well-designed, testable, efficient code
- Unit tests creation
- Perform code review for team members
- Performing demos of work completed
- Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle
- Apply EPAM EngX and project-specific best practices
- Participate in all scrum ceremonies
Requirements
- 3+ years of Java, Spring Boot (Core and Framework)
- Microservices and serverless architecture (docker)
- Azure functions, service bus, cosmos DB
- CI/CD, DevSecOps, setting up and managing Build and release pipelines
- Experience mentoring other developers on the team
- Take responsibility and accountability for backend code
- Story estimation, planning, and timely integration with other stakeholders (product, app, backend, UI/UX, etc)
- Performance fixes and optimization
- REST API design and finalization
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new best practices to maximize development quality efficiency
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
- Integration with third-party solutions/services with JSON data via REST API calls
