Senior Java Developer for Healthcare Company

Currently, we are looking for a remote Senior Java Developer to join our team.

The client is a technology-enabled care model powered by a nationally scaled, locally delivered healthcare platform.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts, Application Developers, and QA Analysts
  • Designing and developing low-latency, scalable, high available, distributed application services and delivering high availability and performance
  • Under existing application architecture
  • New feature development
  • Re-usable component creation
  • Write well-designed, testable, efficient code
  • Unit tests creation
  • Perform code review for team members
  • Performing demos of work completed
  • Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle
  • Apply EPAM EngX and project-specific best practices
  • Participate in all scrum ceremonies
Requirements
  • 3+ years of Java, Spring Boot (Core and Framework)
  • Microservices and serverless architecture (docker)
  • Azure functions, service bus, cosmos DB
  • CI/CD, DevSecOps, setting up and managing Build and release pipelines
  • Experience mentoring other developers on the team
  • Take responsibility and accountability for backend code
  • Story estimation, planning, and timely integration with other stakeholders (product, app, backend, UI/UX, etc)
  • Performance fixes and optimization
  • REST API design and finalization
  • Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new best practices to maximize development quality efficiency
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
  • Integration with third-party solutions/services with JSON data via REST API calls

  • Knowledge of isomorphic React
