Currently, we are looking for a remote Senior Java Developer to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Design, unit testing, coding and integration of assigned projects
- Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review
- Actively participate in the whole development process, from initial design up to launching the product
- Work within a team of developers to complete proposed initiatives, contributing application architecture and implementation guidance; Collaborate with Business Analysts, Application Developers, QA Analysts
- Solve complex problems by utilizing the right development methodologies, producing scalable, flexible, efficient and maintainable solutions using appropriate technologies
- Understand and exhibit agile development techniques
- Independently analyze and resolve complex software problems
- Java development
- Writing and maintaining User Defined Functions (UDFs)
- Some API and web service development, consumption and development
Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering (BE or B.Sc.) or equivalent experience
- Experience programming in Java and JavaScript
- Experience programming in Spring, Maven
- Experience programming in authentication, authorization
- Experience using Git
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Exhibits passion for staying current on technologies and best practices as related to software development
- Must also be willing to express new and innovative ideas
- Exposure and adoption of Agile software development life cycle Methodologies
- Experience with Web services and Web APIs
- Experience coding unit tests/Test-driven development

- Experience with Camunda
- Experience with Microsoft Office development
