Senior Java Developer for a Security Company

Currently we are looking for a remote Senior Java Developer to join our global team.
The customer is a global cloud-based information security company that provides Internet security, web security, next generation firewalls, sandboxing, SSL inspection, antivirus, vulnerability management and granular control of user activity in cloud computing, mobile and Internet of things environments.
Responsibilities
- Independent analysis of the subject area and clarification of requirements
- Development of integration services and microservice components in Java
- Writing Unit Tests
- Code refactoring and optimization, Code review
- Participation in testing of developed components and fixing defects
- Participation in the preparation of documentation
- Participation in architectural decision making
Requirements
- 3+ years experience developing web applications and services in distributed and SaaS environments
- Solid grasp on data structures and object-oriented design
- Strong programming skills in Java, JavaScript
- Experience designing RESTful services and APIs using frameworks like Jersey or Spring
- Experience with scaling backend services using caching technologies such as Redis or Hazelcast
- Knowledge of implementing messaging infrastructure using frameworks like Kafka or RabbitMQ
- Experience with services deployed in cloud-computing environments, AWS prefered
- Working knowledge of developing on a polyglot DB backend (Postgres, NoSQL databases like Cassandra
- Knowledge of single-page application development using frameworks such as React, AngularJS or ExtJS
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins Pipeline, Spinnaker or Bamboo)
- Familiar with container technologies like Docker and container orchestration like Kubernetes
- Networking domain experience is a plus (HTTP, DNS, ICMP)
- Proficient English (written and spoken) B2
