We are recruiting a Senior Java Developer with AWS proficiency. The individual should have an intensive knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms. The role will be a part of our remote team.

As a Product Engineer, the role comprises the designing and building of scalable, maintainable software solutions. You will utilize a variety of technology areas that extend to Java, Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language as well as Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure. You will work with a team of developers, testers, and other stakeholders to guarantee timely and successful product delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and develop solutions
  • Development and implementation of maintainable, scalable software solutions
  • Creation and maintenance of code based on clean coding principles
  • Execution of code reviews for quality checks against established coding standards
  • Setup and maintain automated tests to ensure the quality of deliverables
  • Participation in Agile/Scrum development process and ceremonies
  • Accountability for punctual code delivery and quality assurance
  • Documenting of code and system architecture
  • Participation in system design and architecture discussions
  • Technical mentorship for junior developers
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field is a must
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in software development with a focus on Java
  • Prior experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) is needed
  • Expertise in Data Structures and Algorithms is necessary
  • Experience in Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language would be helpful
  • Proficiency in both SQL and NoSQL tools, APIs and Integration is desired
  • Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools is preferred
  • Adroitness in Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure is essential
  • Acts with a profound sense of ownership and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in fluent English suitable for successful collaboration with remote teams
Nice to have
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes or similar containerization technologies would be advantageous
  • Knowledge of Big Data technologies like Hadoop and Spark would be beneficial
  • Familiarity with Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence technologies would be appreciated
