We are seeking a Senior Java Developer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of scalable Java applications leveraging Azure cloud technologies within a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
Please note that working from the office in Krakow or Wroclaw for 3 days per week is required.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Java applications that meet business requirements and technical specifications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement software solutions
- Utilize Azure services and technologies to build scalable and efficient applications
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code to ensure high performance and reliability
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in Java development and cloud computing
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional experience in Java development
- Proficiency in Java 18+, Spring Boot, and Microservice Architecture Style
- Skills in RESTful API development, including OpenAPI/Swagger
- Skills in PostgreSQL, Oracle, and SQL Databases for database management
- Knowledge of Hibernate and JPA for ORM implementation
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD
- Background in Azure cloud platform
- Understanding of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus and Splunk
- Expertise in testing frameworks including JUnit, TestNG, Mockito, and JBehave
- Competency in messaging and integration technologies like Apache Kafka and REST
- Knowledge of security and authentication practices using OAuth2, JWT, and Spring Security
- Proficiency in English at a B2+ level
Nice to have
- Background in the financial services industry
- Certification in Azure or related cloud technologies
- Familiarity with other programming languages and frameworks
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
- Knowledge of Kubernetes
