We are seeking a Senior Java Developer to join an agile crew aligned to larger products and services fulfilling client needs, working across multiple autonomous pods. You'll focus on enhancing current risk models, driving continuous improvement, and supporting the transition of future-state risk models to the cloud.
Please note that working from the client's office is required 3 days per week.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Core Java and Spring Boot
- Build and enhance microservices-based solutions with a focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability
- Develop and optimize integrations with PostgreSQL, Oracle, and Sybase databases
- Deploy and support applications in Azure using Docker and Kubernetes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software in an Agile environment
- Troubleshoot, enhance, and support production systems running in Unix/Linux environments
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Core Java and Spring Boot
- Proven experience designing and developing microservices architectures
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL and Oracle databases
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized application deployment
- Working knowledge of Azure cloud services
- Proficiency in Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Proficiency in English at a B2+ level

- Experience with Sybase
