We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join our remote team, contributing to the design, development, and implementation of our software solutions. As a Senior Java Developer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and user needs, and design and implement new features based on end-user use cases. You will also be responsible for setting up and debugging the existing tool landscape, improvising as needed, and deploying to the cloud. Responsibilities
- Understand business requirements and user needs, and design and implement new features based on end-user use cases
- Set up and debug the existing tool landscape, improvising as needed, and deploying to the cloud
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain software solutions
- Contribute to the development of scalable and resilient applications
- Perform code reviews and ensure high-quality code standards
- Participate in the development of automated tests, ensuring software reliability and quality
- Provide support and assistance to other developers, contributing to the development of a collaborative team environment
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Java Development, demonstrating proficiency in Java EE Development and REST API
- Experience with SQL and Perl, and a good understanding of Python code
- Proficiency in Spring Boot and Java Microservice Infrastructure, showcasing your skills in developing scalable and resilient applications
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, crucial for designing and implementing new requirements based on end-user use cases
- Experience in setting up and debugging the existing tool landscape, improvising as needed, and deploying to the cloud
- Ability to work independently and manage stress effectively, maintaining a high level of performance even under pressure
- Fluent spoken and written English at an upper-intermediate level or higher
