Senior Java Developer

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Senior Java Developer to become a vital member of our cross-functional scrum team within a designated business capability POD.

The ideal candidate will exhibit significant expertise in Java and Spring Framework, playing a key role in developing backend solutions that enhance business processes.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain the Java codebase
Design and construct back-end microservices and REST APIs
Conduct unit testing to ensure software reliability
Perform code reviews to maintain high standards in code quality
Advocate for best practices including unit testing, code reviews, and continuous integration
Participate actively in SCRUM ceremonies to foster team collaboration
Contribute to estimation and planning sessions to ensure project alignment
Provide mentorship and guidance to other developers

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years in development experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
Proficiency in Java and Spring Framework
Competency in API development with an understanding of microservices architecture
Background in financial services such as wealth management is appreciated but not required
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English at a C1+ level
