We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join our remote team, working with a global healthcare ISV and one of the top Electronic Medical Record (EMR) vendors. With a multi-year program to reimagine and re-platform their legacy application suite as a SaaS based solution using modern technologies and frameworks deployed on AWS cloud, this is a unique opportunity to grow and learn with the right individuals. As a Senior Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing complex software solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement complex software solutions using Java and related technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products, ensuring seamless integration and functionality
- Identify and resolve software issues, bugs, and usability problems, providing valuable insights to the development team
- Contribute to the development of software architecture and design, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and reliability
- Participate in code reviews, offering input on code quality, readability, and potential improvements
- Contribute to the development of automated testing frameworks and tools, ensuring software quality and reliability
- Mentor and guide junior developers, sharing your knowledge and expertise to promote growth and development
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Java development
- Strong proficiency in ReactJS, Amazon Web Services, JavaScript, and NoSQL Databases
- In-depth knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Cloud, and/or Spring Cloud Streams, highlighting your understanding of the broader Java development landscape
- Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment, especially using Concourse CI or Jenkins, showcasing your ability to deliver software products efficiently and effectively
- Experience designing and developing microservices architecture solutions (Java/SpringBoot)
- Fluent spoken and written English at an upper-intermediate level or higher
Nice to have
- Experience with OSS Cloud Foundry, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, or Pivotal Web Services, demonstrating your broader perspective on cloud-based solutions
- Experience with other web application development frameworks beyond ReactJS
- Knowledge of performance testing methodologies and tools
