The ideal candidate should have excellent experience with Gitlab, Java 8, Microsoft Azure, and Spring to collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and ship new features. This role requires a hands-on approach to write clean, well-designed, testable, and efficient code to ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to work on Java Microservice Infrastructure in an Agile development environment.
Responsibilities
- Developing high-quality software solutions using Java
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Writing clean, well-designed, testable, and efficient code
- Ensuring the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Identifying and correcting bottlenecks and fixing bugs
- Helping maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
- Participating in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards
- Working with a team of developers to ensure that the development process runs smoothly and efficiently
Requirements
- At least 3+ years of experience as a Java Developer
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Experience in developing high-quality software solutions using Java
- Deep understanding of Gitlab, Java 8, Microsoft Azure, and Spring
- Good understanding of relational databases, SQL, and ORM technologies
- Knowledge of microservices
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Good problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English, at an upper-intermediate level or higher
Nice to have
- Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service
- Experience in Kotlin
