We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join our remote team. As a Senior Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing enterprise software applications with a focus on microservices architecture. You will be working with modern UI frameworks and cloud platforms, and you will be responsible for ensuring the performance and scalability of distributed services. Additionally, you will be responsible for utilizing PostgreSQL databases for storing and queuing large sets of data.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop enterprise software applications with a focus on microservices architecture
  • Ensure the performance and scalability of distributed services
  • Utilize PostgreSQL databases for storing and queuing large sets of data
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy new features
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Stay up-to-date with new technologies and best practices
  • Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance as needed
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality
  • Ensure compliance with coding standards and best practices
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Java development, including experience with Spring Boot
  • Expertise in microservices using Docker and Cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure
  • Strong understanding of performance and scalability issues in distributed services
  • Experience with Java Microservice Infrastructure Tools
  • Experience with PostgreSQL database for storing and queuing large sets of data
  • Experience with at least one modern UI framework such as react.js, ember.js, Angular or vue.js
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (Upper-Intermediate level)
Nice to have
  • Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration
  • Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Cassandra
  • Experience with message brokers such as RabbitMQ or Apache Kafka
  • Experience with GraphQL for API development
  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools such as Jenkins or GitLab
