We are seeking a seasoned Senior Java Developer to join our growing technology team.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Java/J2EE application design and development along with hands-on experience with Liferay.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver extranet/customer portals from start to finish
  • Configure Liferay sites and organizations with permissions
  • Develop portlets, custom themes, and WCM features in Liferay
  • Implement logging, usage metrics, audit trail, and usage analytics components
  • Install, configure, and administer Liferay applications in both production and non-production environments
  • Implement portal solutions based on Liferay
  • Perform tasks for integration of Liferay with other systems
  • Develop own solutions based on Liferay
Requirements
  • 3+ years of Java/J2EE application design and development experience
  • Liferay experience is a must
  • Strong knowledge of MVC design pattern
  • Proficiency with Hibernate and Spring frameworks
  • Experience implementing and utilizing Web services, Service/System Integrations
  • Hands-on experience with Microservices
  • Knowledge of T-SQL
  • Familiar with JavaScript
  • Fluent English communication skills at a B2+ level
Nice to have
  • Experience with OSGI framework
  • Competency in RabbitMQ or Kafka
  • Skills in Servlets and JSP
  • Familiarity with Azure or AWS
