We are looking for an expert Senior Java Developer to become a part of our team and play a pivotal role in the creation of scalable applications. The project is centered around devising a groundbreaking software solution in the Tech Skills sector. You'll be working side by side with a team of skilled developers to build a reliable and scalable applications.
Responsibilities
- Develop, design, and test Java-based solutions for our Tech Skills project
- Collaborate closely with the team to ensure that the application ticks all the boxes for performance, scalability, and reliability requirements
- Participate in code reviews to ensure the codebase is scalable, reliable, and maintainable, while also maintaining code quality
- Identify any technical issues or bugs that may arise during development and find solutions for them
- Provide mentorship to junior developers and contribute to their continuous learning and overall team growth
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in creating scalable applications using Java (Core Java, Java 8)
- A robust experience with Spring Boot & Security, Spring Boot, JBoss
- Proficiency in using RESTful API services and tuning the performance of large scale web applications
- Understanding of the fundamental design principles that underpin a scalable application
- Familiarity with Mybatis, Maria db, IBM MQs, Batch jobs
- A strong track record with test-driven development and Git
- Knowledge of the microservices
- High level of organizational skills and flexibility
- Proficiency in English, with at least an upper-intermediate level of competency for effective communication with the team and stakeholders
Nice to have
- Experience with SQL
- Knowledge of Jenkins and BitBucket
