We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join our remote team and help build a scalable and high-performance breakthrough platform for our external customers. As a member of our modern, lean, self-governing engineering team, you will work alongside world-class engineers, architects, and product managers to create paradigm-shifting applications and solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-quality software for our external customers
- Participate in the full software development life cycle including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members
- Participate in code reviews and design discussions
Requirements
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience in Java (analyze, design, build, test, implement, support)
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science
- Experienced in Angular, HTML, and CSS
- Strong experience with Rapid Application development platforms and with UI frameworks such as Bootstrap or Foundation
- Extensive experience building pattern libraries and responsive websites
- Understanding of applications security
- Familiar with Git or other version control systems
- Solid understanding of information management, data modeling, system integration, development methodologies (including unit testing)
- Excellent English communication skills on at least B2 level
