We are looking for a Senior Java Developer with expertise in Data Structures and Algorithms to join our remote team. You will be working on the development and improvement of our product, demonstrating ownership and a proactive attitude toward problem-solving in a cloud environment. Your role will be focused on delivering high-quality products that meet or exceed customer expectations, with an emphasis on out-of-the-box and solutions thinking. You should have experience working with high-loaded systems and optimizing complex systems with transactions.
Responsibilities
- Work on the development and improvement of our product, demonstrating ownership and a proactive attitude toward problem-solving in a cloud environment
- Deliver high-quality products that meet or exceed customer expectations
- Focus on out-of-the-box and solutions thinking
- Optimize complex systems with transactions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and maintainability
- Contribute to the development of a technical roadmap and product strategy
- Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on technical issues
- Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in software development
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience with Java, with a focus on developing high-quality software
- Expertise in Data Structures and Algorithms
- Knowledge of Kotlin, Scala, and/or Go languages
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Ability to write clean code that is easily maintainable and scalable
- System design knowledge, including the ability to analyze business requirements and design solutions to meet those requirements
- Experience with microservices and Spring
- Knowledge of API & Integration Standards
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Experience with CI/CD processes and tools
- Ownership experience, with a big-picture view mindset
- Experience in creating out-of-the-box solutions
- Expertise in requirement elicitation
- Upper-Intermediate level of English
Nice to have
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools
- Expertise in front-end development frameworks like Angular or React
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
