We are looking for a remote Senior Java Developer to join our team and work on a project that involves Java, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and Spark. You will be responsible for developing high-quality, efficient, and maintainable code, as well as for creating and maintaining technical documentation. You will be working closely with a cross-functional team of developers, testers, and other stakeholders in an Agile environment. Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications
- Implement and optimize search functionalities using Apache Solr and Elastic Stack
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of coding standards and best practices
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in Java development
- Proficiency with Spring and microservices
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in English at an upper-intermediate level
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Apache Solr and Elastic Stack or Search
