We are looking for a proactive and highly skilled Senior Developer with Java expertise to join our remote team, working on the development and improvement of our high-quality product.
As a Senior Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable, and reliable applications. You should have a solid understanding of Java, algorithms and data structures, as well as experience with Kotlin, Scala, or Go language. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and reliable applications using Java and related technologies
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure product delivery that exceeds customer expectations
- Ensure the quality of code, adhering to clean code practices and following problem-solving methodologies
- Take ownership of projects and drive them to completion, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products on time
- Participate in system design and architecture, providing technical expertise in the development of microservices
- Ensure effective integration of different systems through APIs and Integration technologies
- Promote and implement CI/CD practices to optimize software development processes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in Java development, demonstrating expertise in algorithms and data structures
- Experience with Kotlin, Scala, and Go language, contributing to the development of efficient and scalable applications
- Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL tools for effective data querying and manipulation
- Experience with APIs and Integration for seamless integration of different systems
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices, promoting efficient and reliable software development processes
- Expertise in Spring, contributing to the efficient development of high-performance, scalable, and reliable applications
- Experience with Java Microservice Infrastructure, enabling effective design, development, and maintenance of microservices
- Strong understanding of clean code and problem-solving methodologies
- Ability to take ownership of projects and drive them to completion
- Strong communication skills to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Fluent English communication skills at an Upper-Intermediate level, facilitating effective collaboration and communication
Nice to have
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with Big Data technologies like Hadoop or Spark
