Senior Java Developer
We are seeking a skilled Senior Java Developer with expertise in EIS ClaimCore v12 and EIS Solutions to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our clients. You will work closely with our clients to understand their requirements and develop customized solutions that meet their specific needs. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing existing software applications, as well as identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our clients
- Work closely with clients to understand their requirements and develop customized solutions that meet their specific needs
- Maintain and enhance existing software applications, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers
- Perform code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Java development, with a strong focus on the EIS insurance platform
- Expertise in EIS ClaimCore v12 and EIS Solutions
- Proficiency in Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (Upper-Intermediate level)
Nice to have
- Experience with Agile software development methodologies
- Familiarity with Spring Framework and Hibernate
- Knowledge of RESTful API design and development
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with continuous integration and deployment tools such as Jenkins and GitLab
