Senior Java Developer

We are thrilled to invite a Senior Java Developer to play a key role in our cross-functional scrum team, embedded in a focused business capability POD.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate extensive expertise in Java and the Spring Framework, taking responsibility for the development of backend solutions that drive business progress.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain the Java codebase
Design and implement back-end microservices and REST APIs
Conduct thorough unit testing to ensure software stability
Perform code reviews to maintain high-quality standards
Follow and promote best practices, including code reviews and continuous integration
Participate in SCRUM ceremonies to improve team collaboration
Contribute to estimation and planning sessions to ensure project alignment
Provide mentorship and technical guidance to team members

Requirements

At least 3 years of development experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field; Master’s degree in Computer Science preferred
Proficiency in Java and Spring Framework
Competency in creating APIs and understanding of microservices architecture
Background in financial services, with a focus on wealth management, is appreciated but not required
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (C1+ level)
