We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join our remote team. You will be responsible for owning the development and improvement of our cloud-based product, ensuring that it meets or exceeds customer expectations. You should be an expert in Java, with knowledge of Kotlin, Scala, or Go. Additionally, you should have experience with React.js and Amazon Web Services. You should have experience with clean code, system design, microservices, and Spring. You will also be responsible for developing APIs and integrating them with other systems. Your soft skills should include ownership, a big-picture view mindset, and requirement elicitation experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop and improve our cloud-based product, owning the development process from start to finish
- Ensure that our product meets or exceeds customer expectations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop APIs and integrate them with other systems
- Develop microservices using Spring
- Design and implement clean code principles
- Ensure that our product is scalable and maintainable
- Ensure that our product is secure and performs well
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience with Java
- Expertise in data structures and algorithms
- Experience with Kotlin, Scala, or Go
- Proficiency with React.js
- Experience with Amazon Web Services
- Knowledge of clean code principles
- Knowledge of system design
- Experience with microservices and Spring
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL tools
- Experience with CI/CD processes
- API & Integration Standards knowledge
- Fluency in English, with at least an upper-intermediate level of competency for effective communication
