Senior Java Developer

Java, Amazon Web Services, CI/CD, PostgreSQL, REST API, Spring Boot, CSS, Microservice Architecture Pattern

We are looking to onboard a skilled Senior Java Developer to our active team focusing on engineering support and development of laboratory information management systems.

Join us in this meaningful role where you can directly impact essential software applications across scientific and engineering areas.

Responsibilities

Enhance and refine Java applications tailored for laboratory information management systems and engineering support
Work in conjunction with multidisciplinary teams to diagnose and fix software problems
Favor and push forward CI/CD pipelines to enhance the efficiency of software deployment
Write clean, effective, and scalable code following established best practices
Create and keep up-to-date technical documentation that supports the software's lifecycle

Requirements

3+ years of experience in Java, Spring Boot, and Hibernate frameworks
Understanding of Agile methodologies and Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Knowledge of databases including PostgreSQL and hands-on experience with Gitlab
Capability to integrate and manage APIs, preferably RESTful
Qualifications in software engineering or related field
Flexibility to work remotely with strong communication and collaboration skills
B2+ Level of English proficiency

Nice to have

Experience in laboratory information management systems
Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
Background in DevOps practices
