We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join our team remotely. As a Senior Java Developer, you will play a critical role in the development and implementation of complex software solutions. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance applications using Java and related technologies. Additionally, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that software projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance applications using Java and related technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Identify and resolve complex software problems
- Ensure that software projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure that best practices are followed
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience developing software using Java
- Expertise in Hibernate and Spring Core
- Proficiency in RESTful web services
- Strong knowledge of Java Microservice Infrastructure Tools
- Experience with Git and Maven
- Experience with Stream API, Generics, and RxJava
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (Upper-Intermediate level)
Nice to have
- Experience with OpenL
- Knowledge of other programming languages such as Python or Ruby
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
