Senior Java Developer

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join our dynamic scrum team within a designated business capability POD.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in Java and Spring Framework and will contribute significantly to the development of backend solutions that enhance business operations.

Responsibilities

Develop, enhance, and maintain Java codebase
Design and construct backend microservices and REST APIs
Execute thorough unit testing to ensure robust software performance
Conduct regular code reviews to uphold high code quality
Adhere to and champion best practices like code review, unit testing, and continuous integration
Actively engage in SCRUM ceremonies to enhance team collaboration
Actively participate in estimation and planning sessions to align with project goals
Mentor and offer guidance to fellow developers

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of development experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar; Master’s degree in Computer Science preferred
Proficiency in Java and Spring Framework
Competency in building APIs and understanding microservices architecture
Background in financial services, specifically wealth management is beneficial but not essential
Upper-intermediate proficiency in English (B2+)
