Senior Java Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled remote Senior Java Developer with extensive experience in Java 8, SQL, Git, Hibernate, and Spring Boot to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing technical and functional enhancements to the Assortment Builder system, testing your changes, and supporting deployments. You may also be required to provide on-call support in the future, for which you will receive additional compensation. Responsibilities
  • Design and develop technical and functional enhancements to the Assortment Builder system
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to industry standards and best practices
  • Test your changes and ensure that they meet the highest quality standards
  • Support deployments and perform troubleshooting as necessary
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that system requirements are met
  • Provide on-call support in the future if required
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Java development
  • Strong proficiency in Java 8 or later
  • Solid understanding of Git and SQL
  • Experience with Hibernate and Spring Boot frameworks
  • Expertise in developing and consuming RESTful services
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and programming languages
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English (Upper-Intermediate level)
Nice to have
  • Experience with Gitlab and other version control systems
  • Familiarity with streaming technologies such as Kafka
  • Knowledge of containerization platforms such as Kubernetes
