We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join our team. As a Senior Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing solutions that integrate with the EIS PolicyCore v12 and EIS ClaimCore v20 systems, working with REST APIs and utilizing Spring framework. You will also be involved in developing microservices using Java RX, with the aim of improving the performance and efficiency of the system.
Your role will be instrumental in driving the success of our insurance-related projects, and you will be working alongside a team of talented professionals. Your strong analytical skills and experience in the insurance domain will be essential in ensuring that our solutions meet the needs of our clients.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop REST APIs using Spring framework, ensuring seamless integration with EIS PolicyCore v12 and EIS ClaimCore v20 systems
- Develop microservices using Java RX, with the aim of improving the performance and efficiency of the system
- Work closely with the team to ensure that solutions meet the needs of our clients, complying with relevant regulations and best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions in line with project goals and timelines
- Contribute to the development of technical documentation and maintain code quality and standards
- Continuously evaluate industry trends and best practices to refine and implement effective solutions
- Collaborate with stakeholders, demonstrating excellent communication and leadership skills
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Java Developer, working on large-scale projects
- Expertise in REST API design and development using Spring framework
- Experience with EIS PolicyCore v12 and EIS ClaimCore v20 systems
- Experience with microservices development using Java RX
- Strong analytical skills, enabling effective problem-solving and decision-making in complex environments
- Excellent organizational and structuring abilities, promoting the efficient delivery of projects
- Upper-intermediate English language skills, allowing for effective written and spoken communication and collaboration with the team and stakeholders
- Self-organized and able to work independently, with good time management skills
Nice to have
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases and their implementation in cloud environments
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration
