Senior Java Developer

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join our remote team and work on a cloud environment project. You will be responsible for the development and improvement of the product, demonstrating ownership and a proactive attitude toward problem-solving. Our team is focused on quality, delivering high-quality products that meet or exceed customer expectations. As a senior member of the team, you will be expected to take a big picture view and provide technical leadership as well as mentorship to junior developers.

Responsibilities
  • Develop high-quality software that meets or exceeds customer expectations
  • Lead technical design discussions and provide technical leadership to junior developers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Product Owners, QA, and DevOps to ensure the delivery of successful product increments
  • Continuously improve the quality of the product and the development process
  • Contribute to the development of best practices and standards for software development within the company
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
  • Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on their technical growth
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience with Java and a strong grasp of Data Structures and Algorithms
  • Knowledge of Kotlin, Scala, or Go language
  • Experience with React.js and Amazon Web Services
  • Expertise in Clean Code and System Design
  • Proficiency with Microservices and Spring Framework
  • Strong understanding of API & Integration Standards
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL tools
  • Proficiency with CI/CD
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (B2+ level)
Nice to have
  • Experience with other cloud platforms such as Azure or Google Cloud
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
