We are seeking a skilled Senior Java Developer to join our remote team, working with a global healthcare ISV and one of the top Electronic Medical Record (EMR) vendors. As a Senior Java Developer, you will play a vital role in designing and developing microservices architecture solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams and contributing to the enhancement of software solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop microservices architecture solutions using Spring, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Cloud, and/or Spring Cloud Streams
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve software issues, ensuring seamless and user-centered software solutions
- Contribute to the development and deployment of software solutions on Amazon Web Services, ensuring high standards of functionality and usability
- Participate in design reviews, offering input on requirements, product design, and potential challenges
- Provide assistance and support to junior developers during project Discovery and ideation phases, contributing to innovative software solutions
- Review and ensure the quality control of software deliverables to meet the highest standards
- Contribute to the development of software testing strategies, ensuring software quality and reliability
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Java Development, demonstrating your proficiency in designing and developing microservices architecture solutions using Spring, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Cloud, and/or Spring Cloud Streams
- In-depth knowledge of relational databases and NoSQL databases, especially Oracle, and experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment, especially using Concourse CI or Jenkins
- Proficiency in Amazon Web Services, enabling you to contribute to the development and deployment of software solutions on the cloud
- Experience with JavaScript, especially ReactJS
- Experience with OSS Cloud Foundry, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, or Pivotal Web Services is a big plus
- Strong focus on teamwork and exceptional interpersonal skills, allowing you to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work independently and manage stress effectively, maintaining a high level of performance even under pressure
- Fluent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
Nice to have
- Knowledge of performance testing methodologies and tools
- Experience with OSS Cloud Foundry, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, or Pivotal Web Services
