Our remote team is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join our ranks.

As a senior contributor, your role will be pivotal in creating scalable, extensible, and easily maintainable solutions for the Content Product Master. You will utilize your knowledge of data structures and algorithms to excel in this role. Your main focus will encompass defining, architecting, and building top-tier software solutions. You'll work alongside other software engineers and cross-functional teams, promoting technology, solutions, and best practices, while also injecting fresh ideas into a community of high-caliber professionals.

Responsibilities
  • Conception, architecture, and development of high-quality software solutions
  • Promotion of technologies, solutions, and best practices in collaboration with software engineers and cross-functional teams
  • Contribution of innovative ideas to a wider community of highly skilled professionals
  • Balancing of resources, requirements, and complexity for seamless project completion
  • Ensuring alignment of work with the target market needs and our customer's business objectives
  • Participation in code reviews and provision of constructive feedback to enhance code quality
  • Engagement with mentor for continuous development of technical and soft skills
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years in Java development with proficiency in the Java ecosystem including REST, Spring, and JPA
  • Extensive knowledge of Spring Boot and Microservices
  • Practical experience with Amazon Elastic Container Service and Amazon Web Services
  • Proficiency in Java Microservice Infrastructure Tools
  • Familiarity with GraphQL and JPA
  • Comfort in a DevOps culture including Continuous Delivery, cloud deployments (preferably AWS), full automation, and Docker
  • Capability to utilize data structures and algorithms for problem solving
  • High-level analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Agile software development experience
  • Passion for technology and the opportunities it offers users of our systems
  • Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written
Nice to have
  • Previous experience in working on Content Platforms
