We are searching for a seasoned Senior Java Developer to become a key player in our team, focusing on the development of scalable applications. The project revolves around designing an innovative software solution within the Tech Skills industry. In this exciting role, you will collaborate with an experienced team of developers to create a highly robust and scalable application using Java and other technologies.
Responsibilities
- Design, engineer, and test Java-based solutions for our high-priority Tech Skills project
- Work closely with the team to ensure the application meets our high standards of performance, scalability, and reliability
- Participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality and ensure that our codebase is scalable, reliable, and maintainable
- Proactively identify and fix any technical issues or bugs that surface during the development process
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers and contribute to the continuous learning and growth of our team
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of experience building scalable applications using Java (Core Java, Java 8)
- Strong experience with Spring Boot & Security, Spring Boot, JBoss
- Proficiency in utilizing RESTful API services and enhancing the performance of large-scale web applications
- Solid understanding of the core design principles behind a scalable application
- Knowledge of Mybatis, Maria db, IBM MQs, Batch jobs
- Extensive experience with test-driven development and Git
- Understanding of microservices
- Highly organized and flexible
- Proficiency in English, with at least an upper-intermediate level for effective communication with the team and stakeholders
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Jenkins and BitBucket
- Experience with SQL
