We are seeking a remote Senior Java Developer to join our team and work on integration projects. Your primary focus will be the development of REST APIs and microservices using Java and Spring, as well as integrating with EIS PolicyCore v12 and EIS ClaimCore v20.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop REST APIs and microservices using Java and Spring
  • Integrate with EIS PolicyCore v12 and EIS ClaimCore v20 to deliver effective insurance solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions in line with project goals and timelines
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver effective, tailored solutions
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other team members
  • Contribute to the development of best practices and standards for Java development within the team
  • Continuously evaluate industry trends and best practices to refine and implement the most effective Java strategies
Requirements
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Java Developer, working on large-scale projects
  • Proven experience in Java RX and Spring development, with a focus on REST APIs and microservices
  • Experience in integrating with EIS PolicyCore v12 and EIS ClaimCore v20
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Self-organized and analytical, with strong problem-solving skills
  • English language proficiency at Upper-Intermediate level, enabling clear collaboration, presentation, and discussion with the team and stakeholders
Nice to have
  • Experience with Angular or React for front-end development
  • Strong knowledge of insurance industry standards and practices
