We are looking for a remote Senior Java Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Java development, REST API, Kafka and Spring Boot. They will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality software products that meet business needs. Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality software products using Java and Spring Boot
- Design and implement data pipelines using Spring Batch
- Create and maintain RESTful APIs to integrate with other systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and QA, to deliver high-quality software products
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in a timely and efficient manner
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development and data integration
- Document software design, code, and processes
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Java development with a strong understanding of Spring Boot and REST API
- Expertise in designing and implementing data pipelines using Spring Batch
- Experience with data integration (ETL/ELT) platforms
- Strong knowledge of AWS
- Proficiency with Apache Kafka
- Ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to troubleshoot and debug issues
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Solid understanding of software development principles and best practices
- Excellent communication skills in English (B2+ level), both written and spoken
Nice to have
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and technologies
- Experience with agile software development methodologies
- Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases
