Senior Java Developer

We are looking for a remote Senior Java Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Java development, REST API, Kafka and Spring Boot. They will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality software products that meet business needs. Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain high-quality software products using Java and Spring Boot
  • Design and implement data pipelines using Spring Batch
  • Create and maintain RESTful APIs to integrate with other systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and QA, to deliver high-quality software products
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues in a timely and efficient manner
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development and data integration
  • Document software design, code, and processes
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Java development with a strong understanding of Spring Boot and REST API
  • Expertise in designing and implementing data pipelines using Spring Batch
  • Experience with data integration (ETL/ELT) platforms
  • Strong knowledge of AWS
  • Proficiency with Apache Kafka
  • Ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to troubleshoot and debug issues
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Solid understanding of software development principles and best practices
  • Excellent communication skills in English (B2+ level), both written and spoken
Nice to have
  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and technologies
  • Experience with agile software development methodologies
  • Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases
