Senior Java Developer
We are seeking a Senior Java Developer to join our remote team to work on a project focused on unifying Jira entities in the backend.
In this position, you will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of highly scalable and available software solutions.

Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-quality software solutions, adhering to best engineering practices, and delivering scalable and available solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex software problems
- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring code quality
- Provide technical leadership and coaching to junior developers, ensuring the development of their skills
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of the software solutions
- Be accountable for the maintenance and repair of the software solutions
- Provide estimates for development efforts and follow through with commitments
- Continuously learn new technologies and stay up to date with industry trends
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Java development, demonstrating hands-on experience in developing and deploying Java-based applications
- Strong understanding of Java technologies, including Spring Boot, and experience with Amazon Web Services
- Experience in problem-solving, maintenance, and repair of software solutions, as well as experience in implementing database change management
- Experience in unit testing, end-to-end testing, and functional testing
- Experience with Jira and agile methodologies, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English at an Upper-Intermediate level and higher
Nice to have
- Familiarity with performance and scalability concepts and ability to monitor and assess the performance of the system, using tools such as Splunk for monitoring
