Senior Java Developer
We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing ETL/ELT solutions using Java and PostgreSQL, as well as working with Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure. You will be a key player in developing scalable and reliable applications that meet the needs of our clients in Life Sciences & Healthcare.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement ETL/ELT solutions using Java and PostgreSQL
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop scalable and reliable applications
- Work with Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure to develop cloud-based solutions
- Ensure that applications meet the needs of clients in Life Sciences & Healthcare
- Develop and maintain technical documentation
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
- Mentor junior developers and help them grow their skills
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in software development
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on Java
- Expertise in designing and implementing ETL/ELT solutions using Java and PostgreSQL
- Proficiency in working with Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure
- Experience in developing scalable and reliable applications
- Strong understanding of software development best practices, including agile methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (Upper-Intermediate level)
Nice to have
- Experience with Apache NiFi and Apache Spark
- Knowledge of Java Microservice Infrastructure
