Senior Java Developer

We are actively seeking a Senior Java Developer to become a part of our remote workforce. Our organization is currently undertaking a significant project that focuses on transitioning and modernizing our traditional application suite into a SaaS-based model, leveraging state-of-the-art technologies and frameworks hosted on Oracle Cloud. This position provides a chance to engage in an innovative project that will transform our corporate software environment.

Responsibilities
  • Streamline migration processes to boost both efficiency and precision
  • Construct and implement control strategies to automate provisioning and streamline the onboarding of customers
  • Develop and sustain personal health record systems integral to our product offerings
  • Architect, program, and upkeep Java-based components and interfaces
  • Engage in every stage of the development lifecycle, from initial concept through to final deployment
  • Craft well-structured, testable, and efficient code
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to conceptualize and design novel features
  • Assess user needs to guide the architectural and design decisions of applications
  • Generate and maintain comprehensive code documentation and contribute to technical documents
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
  • At least 3 years of experience in a Java Developer role
  • Advanced skills in using the Spring Framework to develop robust Java applications
  • Proficient in utilizing JUnit for crafting and conducting unit tests in Java environments
  • Well-versed in CI/CD methodologies for creating automated software delivery pipelines
  • Knowledgeable in using Kubernetes to manage applications within containerized environments
  • Strong grasp of object-oriented design and SDK development, particularly within cloud-based settings
  • Experienced with the infrastructure and services provided by Oracle Cloud
  • Fluent in English, with a proficiency level of B2 or higher
Nice to have
  • Advanced capabilities in JavaScript for undertaking front-end development tasks
  • Experience with TypeScript to develop scalable web applications
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture for designing scalable and independently deployable software modules
