We are currently seeking a Senior Java Developer with expertise in Spring, Angular, and Google Cloud Platform to join our team. Our client, a leading financial services company, is seeking a skilled developer to work on a new project aimed at improving the customer experience. As a Senior Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software solutions, as well as providing guidance and support to junior team members.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement software solutions using Java and related technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize software features
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards
- Develop and maintain technical documentation
- Troubleshoot and debug software issues as needed
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in Java development, with a strong focus on Spring
- Expertise in Angular 2+ and building responsive web applications
- Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform, including App Engine, Compute Engine, and Cloud Storage
- Experience with SQL and stored procedures in MSSQL or Oracle databases
- Experience with agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
Nice to have
- Experience with Pivotal Cloud Foundry or other cloud platforms, such as AWS
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with front-end technologies, such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience with test-driven development and automated testing frameworks
- Experience with DevOps practices, including continuous integration and delivery
