We are currently seeking a Senior Java Developer with expertise in Spring, Angular, and Google Cloud Platform to join our team. Our client, a leading financial services company, is seeking a skilled developer to work on a new project aimed at improving the customer experience. As a Senior Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software solutions, as well as providing guidance and support to junior team members.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement software solutions using Java and related technologies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize software features
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation
  • Troubleshoot and debug software issues as needed
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience in Java development, with a strong focus on Spring
  • Expertise in Angular 2+ and building responsive web applications
  • Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform, including App Engine, Compute Engine, and Cloud Storage
  • Experience with SQL and stored procedures in MSSQL or Oracle databases
  • Experience with agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
Nice to have
  • Experience with Pivotal Cloud Foundry or other cloud platforms, such as AWS
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience with front-end technologies, such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Experience with test-driven development and automated testing frameworks
  • Experience with DevOps practices, including continuous integration and delivery
