We are seeking a highly skilled remote Senior Java Developer to join our team and work on integration projects. As a Senior Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying software solutions using Java and related technologies. You will work with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Your role will include implementing REST API and integrating systems using Spring framework and Microservices. You will also work with EIS ClaimCore v12 and EIS PolicyCore v20 to develop insurance solutions and provide ongoing support and maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions using Java and related technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Implement REST API and integrate systems using Spring framework and Microservices
- Develop insurance solutions using EIS ClaimCore v12 and EIS PolicyCore v20
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for developed solutions
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and follow software development best practices
- Continuously improve technical skills and share knowledge with the team
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project goals and timelines are met
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development using Java and related technologies
- Strong experience in building RESTful API and integration of systems using Spring framework and Microservices
- Expertise in developing solutions using EIS ClaimCore v12 and EIS PolicyCore v20
- Experience with Java RX for reactive programming
- Proficient in Agile methodologies and software development practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug and troubleshoot complex issues
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Self-organized with the ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Upper-Intermediate English level or higher, enabling clear communication with the team and stakeholders
Nice to have
- Familiarity with cloud-based solutions and deployment
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with front-end technologies like Angular or React
