Senior Java Developer

Java, Spring Boot, Amazon Web Services, ReactJS, Apache Maven, Gradle

We are seeking a skilled Senior Java Developer to join our remote team, working with a leading technology partner to modernize their flagship product into a fully web-based SaaS model on AWS. As a Senior Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing microservices architecture solutions, while ensuring the highest levels of performance, scalability, and security.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop microservices architecture solutions, ensuring the highest levels of performance, scalability, and security
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to conceptualize, design, develop, and implement effective solutions
  • Optimize and fine-tune solutions to ensure enhanced performance and scalability
  • Engage in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues promptly to uphold system integrity and availability
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers on the team
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in Java development, with a strong focus on Spring Boot
  • Expertise in working with Amazon Web Services (AWS), ReactJS, Apache Maven, and Gradle
  • Experience with designing and developing microservices architecture solutions
  • Thorough understanding of relational databases and NoSQL databases, especially Oracle
  • Proficiency in Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment, especially using Concourse CI or Jenkins
  • Experience with Spring, Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Cloud, and/or Spring Cloud Streams
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong focus on delivering high-quality code
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work in cross-functional teams
  • Fluent English language skills with an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
