We are seeking a Senior Java Developer to join our remote team.
As a senior member of the team, you will play an instrumental role in building scalable, extensible, and easily maintainable solutions for the Content Product Master. Your expertise in data structures and algorithms will be essential. Your primary focus will be on defining, architecting, and building high-quality software solutions. You will collaborate with other software engineers and cross-functional teams to evangelize technologies, solutions, and best practices while also contributing new ideas to a larger community of high-caliber professionals.
Responsibilities
- Define, architect, and build high-quality software solutions
- Collaborate with other software engineers and cross-functional teams to evangelize technologies, solutions, and best practices
- Contribute new ideas to a larger community of high-caliber professionals
- Balance resources, requirements, and complexity to ensure seamless project completion
- Ensure that your work aligns with the needs of the target market and the business objectives of our customer
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality
- Engage with your mentor for continuous learning and development of technical and soft skills
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years experience in Java development, with expertise in the Java ecosystem including REST, Spring, and JPA
- Strong knowledge of Spring Boot and Microservices
- Experience with Amazon Elastic Container Service and Amazon Web Services
- Proficiency in Java Microservice Infrastructure Tools
- Familiarity with GraphQL and JPA
- Comfortable with a DevOps culture including Continuous Delivery, deployments in the cloud (ideally AWS), fully automated, and Docker
- Ability to use data structures and algorithms to solve problems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in Agile software development
- Passionate about technology and the possibilities that it opens up for users of our systems
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
