Currently, we're looking for a remote Senior Java Developer for Financial Information company.
The customer is UK stock exchange and financial information company. It helps companies to raise capital and investors to build their portfolios across a range of global markets.
Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality software, design, and functional documentation
- Provide estimates for specific software feature implementation
- Identify, prioritize and execute tasks in the software development life cycle
- Build unit tests for your code
- Develop and maintain tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code that follows open sourcing standards
- Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting
- Communicate with distributed senior development team daily basis
- Ensure software is up-to-date with latest technologies and standards
Requirements
- 4+ years of software development experience using Java and J2EE, Kubernetes, Prometheus
- Hands on experience on Distributed technologies (Apache Kafka)
- Hands on experience building REST APIs
- Good understanding of Client Server Architectures, Cloud Native technologies
- Exposure to React
- Proven experience as a Software Engineer - Strong
- Java core (8/11) - Strong
- Any enterprise messaging - Medium
- GIT - Strong
- Scripting languages: Bash
- Understanding of Linux
- English level: B2
