We're looking for a Senior Java Developer – Azure to join our team in Zurich, Switzerland, in a hybrid working mode. In this role, you will design and build backend services and APIs while contributing to scalable cloud architectures on Microsoft Azure. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, high-performing software solutions that drive client success in complex enterprise environments.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop robust, scalable and secure server-side applications
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs for backend and frontend communication
- Integrate backend systems with third-party services
- Contribute to the design of scalable, resilient and fault-tolerant systems
- Optimize application performance across services
- Write clean, maintainable and efficient code
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical solutions
- Support deployment and operations on Microsoft Azure
Requirements
- Solid experience as a Java developer in enterprise environments
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure
- Working knowledge of Spring Boot
- Familiarity with Azure Kubernetes Service
- Exposure to Azure Service Bus or similar messaging systems
- Strong understanding of API design and integration principles
- Good grasp of performance optimization techniques
- Solid understanding of clean code principles and software design patterns

- Additional Azure certifications
- Experience with event-driven architectures
