We are in active search of a Senior Java Developer possessing AWS proficiency and a proficient understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms to join our remote team.
The role as our Product Engineer spans the drafting and creation of software applications that resonate with scalability and maintainability. The demonstrable expertise should straddle across several technology domains such as Java, Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language, complemented with Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure. The role demands seamless coordination with diverse teams of developers, testers, and other key project contributors ensuring a timely and efficient product delivery.
Responsibilities
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams for understanding project specifications and generating solutions
- Designing and implementing scalable and maintainable software solutions
- Development and maintenance of code adhering to clean coding principles
- Undertaking code reviews for ensuring compliance with coding norms
- Automation of tests to ensure deliverable quality
- Active participant in the Agile/Scrum development process and associated rituals
- Ensuring punctual delivery of quality code
- Documentation of code and system structure
- Active involvement in system design and architecture discussions
- Provision of technical advice and mentoring to junior developers
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
- Minimum 4 years’ software development experience, with a distinct emphasis on Java
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Proficiency in Data Structures and Algorithms
- Exposure to Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language
- Proficient in SQL and NoSQL tools, APIs and Integration
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools
- Demonstrable skills in Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure
- High ownership sense and proactive problem-solving attitude
- Proficiency in English, with a minimum level of Upper-Intermediate, with excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with remote teams
Nice to have
- Exposure to containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Prior experience with Big Data technologies like Hadoop and Spark
- Familiarity with Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence technologies
