We are seeking a Senior Java Developer with significant AWS experience and a solid grasp of Data Structures and Algorithms. This remote position calls for a detail-oriented engineer eager to join our dynamic team.
In the capacity of Product Engineer, you will be designing and creating scalable, maintainable software solutions. Your proficiency should span diverse technologies including Java, Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language, along with Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure. The role calls for participation in a cohort of developers, testers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and high-quality product delivery.
Responsibilities
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and develop solutions
- Development and execution of scalable and maintainable software solutions
- Writing and maintaining code utilizing clean coding principles
- Performing code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards
- Establishing and maintaining automated tests to ensure deliverable quality
- Active involvement in the Agile/Scrum development process and ceremonies
- Ensuring the timely delivery and quality of the code
- Documenting code and system architecture
- Participating in system design and architecture discussions
- Providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior developers
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in software development, primarily involving Java
- Former experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Proficiency in Data Structures and Algorithms
- Former experience in Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language
- Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL tools, APIs and Integration
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools
- Proficiency in Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure
- Strong sense of responsibility and proactive problem-solving approach
- Fluency in English with a level of Upper-Intermediate or higher, excellent verbal and written communication skills for successful remote collaboration
Nice to have
- Previous experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience in working with Big Data technologies like Hadoop and Spark
- Familiarity with Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence technologies
